Nick, what bike did the rear wheel come off? I like the idea of a rear disk brake, and you kept the wheel looking original.. Was it an XJ550? The 650 had shaft drive? Just wondering.

It's a stock LC front wheel with a cush drive in place of the second disc

I am going to show my ignorance, but how did you fit a cush drive on the mountings of the second disc? I assume it's a one off special system? It sounds like an interesting solution.. Any pics?

The cush drive is machined up to hold the rubbers then the sprocket bolts to it. Sorry the pictures not good but you get the idea.

Thanks Nick.. I assume you have used some kind of rubber bushing in the aluminium hub to absorb the drive line shocks? Nice implementation.

It was machined up by NK Racing, it uses proper cush drive rubbers and also means you can convert to a 520 chain
