1980 350 lc rebuilt after many years. starts and runs fine but when riding in any gear up to 4k revs its fine but open throttle to half way and it mis-fires. in order to get over 4k revs i need to open the throttle to like 3/4 open! any ideas??

Are you running standard airfilter and carbs with standard jetting? Are you sure the timing is set correctly?

yeah everythings standard. andi think all the timings are fine.

needles on the wron clip?

Middle position is the standard settings.
