Hi guys this is my first time on the site.I wana ask you a question.I baught myself a R1Z about j month ago and its really running well and clean,hasent got the power that my rgv had but its running beter.My question is this...My temp needle is not working and everytime i rev my bike the needle goes up with the rev counter.Can anybody help me please.

this happened to me too on my rz. you can take the reading at idle ( pull the clutch in ) only, or pull the sensor out and take a steel wool or sandpaper to clean off the crud and re try it. if that doesnt help make sure your battery is up to snuff. if it is make sure the connection is clean to the pick up wire. it is not unusual for the gauge to go bad but when it does so it usually goes off the scale, im fortunate to have 3 rzs so i can trade components between them till i find whats broken
