Newbie alert.
Just put the carbs back in on my RD350B after replacing the right hand side carb. Fond major corrosion in the right carb. When I put in the replacement carb (found one on ebay) I swapped the float bowl of the old carb with the bowl of the new one.
Now when I start her up, she fires up but a) revs to 10,000 and stays there and b) only the left cylinder is firing.
Any thoughts?

so you only touched the float bowl?, sounds like you have twisted the carb so the throttle cable has come out of the top and may have inadvertantly opened the slide, is the cable for that carb correctly seated?
and thinking about it, there may be a mising connection BETWEEN the carbs that would explain your no-start, although how did it start B4???

It looks like it but I'll have to take a closer look tomorrow. After fiddling some more it won't even start now.
Yeah, I basically took the replacement carb, put the float bowl of the old one on it, put in the replacement carb.
