Crankshaft parts

 Can you still buy a new stator end of the crankshaft? If so any idea how much

I had a crank rebuilt at Armstrongs last year and have just gotten around to putting it in the engine. I noticed that it has a scratch on the face that the oil seal sits on, and guess what, its leaking. So looks like I need a new piece and another rebuild. Evil or Very Mad

Guess I should have checked it better when I picked it up. Rolling Eyes Embarassed

 a good engineer may be able to repair that...a touch of weld and then reground may save it...had a similar fault on my rd80 lc but seal had cut agroove...worth asking if it can be done...

 Thanks for the link Mervin, wasn't sure if that part was no longer available. I have just pulled out the motor, so will take the crank back to armstrongs tomorrow to get a new part fitted.
