well was it good or bad ? well its not a ashboune but the show was good . no ride out as such . i think the air cooled and the lc club should find a more appropriate venue , specificly for the rd flock,. I think we need a meeting or balot to find new places to get together for the big bash of the year. after all ashboune was very successful and everyone enjoyed it .

Well I thought the show was ok very relexed and plenty of nice bikes to browes over, shame about the weather but that did not dampin spirits, the thing that pis**d me off most was the lack of support from the LC lot, WTF is up ..there was about 10 LC's there, and that included the ones on the stands.... Shocked all I can say is that you all missed a good and very different week-end.

I second that what a storming ( in every sense ) weekend.
and I am saluting as I write!!!
to be serious yes it was wet and the band had to be turned down due to complaints but everything else was OK.
Top bunch of lads there made it an excellent and very funny weekend.
And it did not rain on the bike on the way home for a change.

Simon

They are to expensive to buy now to be honest or I would have turned up with one.. Get me a half tidy LC for 1.5k and I will bring it to the next meet. Wink

Rich I was planning on going but as usual it's a 220 mile trip each way which would have meant 80 odd quid in fuel alone so it was a bit of a non starter with no-one to share the cost. I'm hoping to do Billing though, that's only 150 miles Rolling Eyes

Was a good laugh, nice to finally turn up on a 2stroke too Smile

Bands were good, sat night being the best Cool Weather was a bit of a pisser but at least it stayed dry for the rideout and the ride in to the event! Ride home was a bit damp but not as bad as last year.

Dissapointed at the lack of lc riders, only 1 tzr too? Sad Where were all the tdr's also, only one on the club stand! Still was nice to be part of the crowd and contributing to the hole in the ozone layer Smile

Oh and wtf was going on with the poxy caravan club moaning about the noise??? Evil or Very Mad I still think a mass burnout was called for last night Laughing

Well done to the ac rd club for the organisation! Very Happy Nice to see the usual faces and meet a few more too Very Happy Cool

210 miles home, & it rained on me & my valve for about 1/2 of it.

I looked at the caravan clubs noticeboard, the VJ meeting was clearly marked & it said about 7,000 people expected over the weekend, including outdoor entertainment, so there was no excuse for the complaining.

Good show though & for a change the bike behaved perfectly. Unlike my mate who jettisoned a silencer towards me at 70 on the m23. We walked back but couldn't find it scratch
