i want to change front and rear on a rg500
but i dont know the best donor bike to use?

nargh...some modern stuff...not that old tat... Shocked I mean if your going to do it do it right...why use stuff from the 90's... Razz

Very true
some of the old 90s stuff is no longer available or in short supply so parts are some times not easy to find. the modern forks ect at least make it easier to locate and buy new parts,

gsxr k6/7 front ends look good gsxr rear ends seem a common mod to.
though the gsxr wheels are expensive second hand.

there isnt much that bolts straight in so expect to make bits, spacers ect

RGV stuff is relatively straight forward swap though (see below), and later Gixer stuff likely to still need lighter springs and revalve?
