Has anyone ever bought parts from this company? With the dollar being so cheap you can get a crankshaft for an RD500 delivered for about £250. That must be cheaper than getting your old one reconditioned??

And wiseco pistons for £50 each?? Must be a bargain!

Gus has a great reputation, you should not be worried about buying from him. He's only problem is that he doesn't make parts for RG500's!! Very Happy

Have any of you guys who purchased cranks from teh USA had to pay VAT or duty on them whne they arrived? If so, how much; is there a way to get out of it?

Hi, although not cranks, I had a set off exhausts posted from America. The excise people charged 10% import and 17.5 % VAT. There are a couple of ways around it, one is mark the package as warranty return, this happened to me as apart of the exhaust was dented and I got a free replacement. Or mark is as a gift, however they do check sometimes alternatively find someone who is going over there and bring it back in their luggage.
Regards Rob
