I bought a luggage rack for my LCII, but it does not quite fit, I am wondering if it might be for an LC, it is slightly too narrow and the bold spacings are off a little.
I was wondering if someone could measure the bolt spacing for the 2 side mounts, and the distance between a right mount and the corresponding left mount.
thanks a lot!

I've got a brand new rack for what I think is a 31K. Bought it for my F2, but didn't fit.
If you want it, it owes me £25. Give me your spacings & I'll check see if it will fit.

same story I got with this one...
because of this I have actually figured out a luggage system that doesn't require a rack. thanks for the offer though.

Simple answer: if its an LC then the bolt holes go all the way through, if no then its LC2 and just made wrong

that's no answer... thanks a lot.
There is no threaded part... they are just "tubes" where on an LC2 there is the threaded portion for the bolts to thread into. The whole thing is fairly well made, it looks like a good unit, but it is too narrow (lc2 has a fat ass) to fit around the lc2 tail section, and the 2 sections of "pipe" that are welded on each down tube are too close together... less than a quarter of an inch though.
you must have a grab bar in your closet you bastard...
