if ye do score it , take care , yz490,s wicked in all gears , top end of 125mph if ye gear it for the road ,
how much is 1500$ in pounds and pence  
1982 is the year of yz490 innit , it was a 1982 model that i had , y reg plate ,
like i say i would love to own another one 
dont have the shreddies at the mo tho

I'd take it without blinking. (although i can't be arsed to check the prize now, i wouldn't pay silly money for it)
Those big ones are f**ing beasts! Although, the favorite would be an aircooled Honda. A 1984 model but upgraded with sm-wheels and usd forks etc. That would be crazy!
My dad had a Husqvarna wr400 from 85 i think. Pretty ugly but it was fast and powerful. Went about 160km/h.
If you stood 4 meters behind the thing, you could easily feel the "puffs" from the exhaust and the clothes kind of flapped for each time it ignited.
My friend had new white pants and he was pushing the bike when we should start it, and so the thing started and spit out a load of 2-stroke oil on his white pants.

however I'm the first on the list
I'd like to transplant its engine in a DRZish street legal bike

Do you think the 4speed transmission worth something?
I don't know if it's the 4 or 5 speed trans
