Hey we got a wasp nest in the barn and it's as big as a human head lol!
How shall we take it away? We tried "start-you-motherf***er-gas" into their nest and they're very pissed off now but still there. It actually made it all worse because now they're not inside the nest, but outside flying around.
I can't set the thing on fire although that is very tempting. I can't rip the nest down and throw it away (or burn it) because i don't have enougn protection, don't want to get stung lol!
So is there any trick which i don't know yet?

Oi i don't know any horse urine dealers around but maybe i can steal it from my neighbour, they have horses but i'm a bit afraid of them and i don't think i'll go down under their organs to get this miracle cure.
Thank's for the answer anyway. Do you think they will leave if the nest stinks with chemicals?
How long will it take before they give up and migrate to another place?

When I had many bee's nests in my horses stable (as a teenager) we called in the council, they sorted out the bees, then we took the leftovers and straw to a local field and set fire to the lot. tis the only way really.
the council will do the extermination humanely and make sure that they are not protected in anyway.
cant have cost too much as dad is yorkshire and well us yorkshire folk dont pay out for much.

Last time I was stung by a wasp..a few weeks ago..I was replacing a
cable on "his" road grader. I grabbed a handy can of starting fluid and
let them have it! They didn't bother me anymore

I took one out of my folks' attic a while back, you just blow this smoke over the nest and they all get pissed - not the type of pissed where you get into a fight and try and smash the local bus shelter, more the sort of pissed where you fall asleep.

'cept the nearest pond maybe
Personaly, I hate wasps, anything black and yellow with more than 2 legs I have no problem with instant extermination. I've got one of those electric tennis racket zappers and could spend all day swatting the ba*tards. In a lot of places around the globe, the locals believe anything that's black and yellow carries an evil spirit - I'm inclined to agree. I was stung on the chest by a wasp while driving the truck once and nearly went off the road. Hornets are twice as evil, i had a large moth drop from the sky at my feet a while ago while in Southern France and on close inspection, a hornet had eaten itself into the moth and was right inside - the moth was still alive too If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I pray I don't come back as an insect. As for cock-chafers, I don't even want to talk about them buggers
