Hello! Just found this forum. I used to have a white/blue 350 water bottle years ago, after my X7. Went right across Spain, Portugal and France on it at one point, but sold it a few years later................to move in with a girlfriend!
Gah!! What a waste!

So here I am, 20 years later, with a bit of money available and looking to get another bike again. Part of me wants to get the lime gree Kawasaki I've always wanted, but my dream bike was always the 500LC. A 4 cylinder 2 stroke 500!!! Awesome! So, if I was even lucky enough to find a decent quality one, how much would I have to pay?

I've even started thinking about getting another 350. Seen a few beautiful examples of them, and the insurance would be cheaper too. But the 500's my dream.

What are the chances?

Chris

The odd one pops up here from time to time. Good one's are to be had on Ebay too. It's worth asking for opinions here if your looking at something on Evil bay. Insurance is cheap as chips, my RG500 was £85 comp when I had it.

just renewed mine and im 42, it was £112 fully comp with RAC cover, same price for 500 as they are in the same group. If its newer than 1986 it will be more as you cant get it on classic insurance. My LC was £80 TPFF but an F2 YPVS was £180.

oh! that will be a Brazilion R then. Dont pay much for it, they are the least sought after ones and the poorest quality, as they were made in Brazil. Going rate seems a little over £500 I think.
