whats your guess for bruno?
melandri is reported to be "still in the dark" as to whether he has a contract for the rest of the year, and gibernau is reportedly on lap record pace in testing, on race tyres not qualifiers.
apparently the question is will the italian team face not having an italian rider........i'd say if you have to ask that, you're asking the wrong question and you already know the answer to the right question.
personally id like to see sete back and on form, i think that would really mix things up. i dont think sete would have a problem partnering stoner, despite stoner being the reason hes out of GP's now, but somehow i dont think stoner will like it very much. maybe the team will take note of that and not risk unsettling their champion, but going by how emotionless their pit was at laguna, maybe they wont care.....

I really don't think Stoner would have an issue with Sete being on the other Ducati.
And I say bring it on.
Maybe Stoner and Sete will be best mates, complaining about Rossi together over a cup of tea

I'm a Sete fan....He should of won it Rossis first Yamaha year. But the argy bargy tactics did for him.....I would say Ducati need someone up there quick....wouldn't half help Casey if someone else was knackering up Rossi...especially someone who would like nothing better.
We are getting a bit F1 with all this though....it'll be a sad day when Rossi retires. I think it'll be the end of the fairing bashing races. And yet ..The best part about the fairing bashing ones is rarely does someone get hurt..its ten times more exciting for the spectators..and usually the riders really enjoy it...its alot better than flying double twisting half pike somersault dimounts that Lorenzo seems keen on.
Absolutely no point in Melandri being out there...costing Ducati serious money for not just no payback...but the oposite.... bad publicity...Ducati are lucky..the public are blaming the riders at the moment - because of Casey.
Yeah ..bring on Sete...!!!!!! lets see if he is actually doing the times...or wether its just a wild threat.

Stoner- "Strewth mite, I reckon that Rossi's a bit of a beeg gallaaaaaah, with his bladdy owvertayking n that?"
Sete- "Si. And he really did hurt my shoulder you know? Really. I wasn't pretending or anything."
Apologies for the awful Aussie accent- too much Alf Stewart-era Home And Away to blame for that one.

i just think theres some interesting issues there. poor old marco isnt the right man any more, but then stoner and sete have some history, not sure how they would work as team mates, but they would at least be united in a desire to beat rossi.
i was dissapointed to see him retire like he did, some of the best racing was between him and rossi. i just hope ducati can get over their national pride and bring him back. so many italian teams out there will only seem to run if they have an italian rider.....

Not bothered about "Issues" and If I was running the Team I would just tell them to get over any 'issues' or F*ck off.
My team talk..
"You get the same bikes, the same tyres, the same support, we dont give a toss which one of you wins...we sell motorbikes, from this moment on you are best buddies helping Ducati win a championship...for that we are paying you xmillion pounds....now go f**cking get on with it. "
I think Ducati should keep trying riders until they find one that can ride it...cos the bike can obviously win championships...just needs another electronic friendly kid....I know.... Bradders or Scott.

I dont think he will be back on the Ducati after the break, he wants out and Ducati want another rider!
Marcos heart aint in it from the look of it, dont look like hes having a good time.

Gibernau's a good rider fer sure but he's another prick on wheels, looks like he'll be back tho. I suppose his mission will be to baulk Rossi, something he might relish. Be interesting, (if impossible) to see Chris Vermuelen in red. What's the score with Rossi and Ducati? I know he can't, but would he Would they want him
